Parent Committee

The committee consists of parents (Mums and Dads) and is a great way to meet new families in the area.  The committee is responsible for the financial running of the Kindergarten and organises regular fundraising activities throughout the year.  All money raised benefits your child and future children.  Fundraising is organised for the purpose of covering shortfalls in running costs and for the purchase of new equipment and resources for the children.

The committee meet monthly, all are welcome to attend.  Check out the committee noticeboard at the Kindergarten for all the committee information.  We would love to join this wonderful team.

Food Policy

We ask parents to send morning tea and a separate lunchbox.  In this way it helps the children learn to leave something for lunch and not to eat all their food at morning tea time.

PLEASE NO NUTS OR NUT PRODUCTS 
(e.g. peanut butter, nutella, etc...).  

We also respectfully ask that no yoghurts or flavoured milks be sent as we cannot keep them at the correct temperature for safe consumption.

parent involvement

Parents are most welcomed in Albany Kindergarten. Apart from joining the committee, parents are encouraged to be involved in various way:being a parent help, providing the kindergarten with resources, sharing your talents and expertise, supporting fundraising, taking washing home, coming on kindergarten trips ad so on.
