What have we been up to?

With many new children and families being introduced this term activities involving chrildren getting to know one another and familiarsing themselves with the kindergarten environment has been encouraged.

A surprise elements for the children was that the indoor area has been set up quite differently as teachers follow intentions to enhance child centred learning, this has stimulated lots of discussions around the different areas of play.

Because the garden had been part of our culture prior to the summer holidays we were rewarded with bunches of flowers and the children have been eagerly helping the teachers with weeding and tidying the gardens.

Children are brining their own stories from their holiday adventures with their friends and families into discussion at kindergarten.
