Our Programme

Our programme planning includes providing a stimulating, challenging learning environment which encourages opportunities for exploration, investigation and choice for children to follow their interests.

As interests emerge these become the focus for further planning for investigation, thinking and deeper learning.

At Mahurangi we believe that every one of us has experiences and knowledge to bring to a learning situation. Therefore our programme draws on the funds of knowledge and expertise of our children, teachers, parents and wider community.

Evidence of our current planning and learning can be seen on our planning walls at the back of the kindergarten and also in the children’s portfolios.
