Enrolment Information
There are several ways to enrol you child at kindergarten. Please feel free to drop in and visit us, have a look around and collect a waiting list form. Alternatively you can give us a call, or use the 'Enrol at this Kindy' link on this page to send us an email. Your child is welcome to join our waiting list from the age of 2 years, when a space becomes available you will be contacted.
Term Dates
TERM 1, 2012 - 31st January – 5th April
TERM 2, 2012 - 23rd April – 29th June
TERM 3, 2012 - 16th July – 28th September
TERM 4, 2012 - 15th October – 21st December
Opening Hours
Oaktree Kindergarten is a kindergarten day model. The kindergarten is open for the following hours:
Younger children start kindergarten with 2 sessions a week:
Thursday: 8.30am – 1.00pm
Friday: 8.30am – 1.00pm
The older children then progress, according to age, to 3 days per week:
Monday: 8.30am – 2.30pm
Tuesday: 8.30am – 2.30pm
Wednesday: 8.30am – 2.30pm

Oaktree Kindergarten is a ´Nut Free´ Zone
Please take particular notice of the restricted food items from kindergarten. We acknowledge the impact of food allergies on children/families and therefore these following items are restricted from kindergarten:
NO peanuts, peanut butter, nutella, almonds, cashews, macadamias, coconut, or nuts of any kind - in Kindergarten lunches.
NO Nice and Natural Fruit Strings. There have been reported incidents of choking at other childcare centres.
NO sweets in lunchboxes please.
Our Parent Committee
The committee consists of parents (Mum's and Dad's) and is a great way to meet new families in the area. They are responsible for the financial running of our kindergarten and organise regular fundraising activities throughout the year. All money raised benefits your child. Fundraising is organised for the purpose of covering shortfalls in running costs and for the purchasing of equipment and resources for the children.
The committee meet monthly, all are welcome to attend. Please check out the committee notice board at kindergarten for a copy of the previous minutes and other information. Our committee is made up of a great bunch of parents and they have some great things planned for this year. We would love to have you on board!
